Product information "FEHR Ergo Tenor, Model III, 3-piece, pear wood"
The 433BIE (tenor with ERGO keys) is more comfortable to play.
Detailed information about the instrument can be found at the bottom of the page.
ERGO keys
If you have small hands but still want to play a tenor recorder, then the 433BIE tenor with ERGO keys is just the right instrument for you.
The ERGO keys on the tone holes allow you to reduce the spread of your hands. This is made possible by the special design of the keys. They consist of a single surface, so you are free to position your fingers where it is most comfortable for you.
We have deliberately placed the keys for the right hand on the upper tone holes so that your hands can slide down and reach the double holes more easily. One finger is still faster on a double hole than the fastest key.
The colour of the keys is currently matt black.
Special features of model series III
The external shape of the model series III is based on the stylistic features of the High Baroque style. The well-balanced shape with fine decorative rings gives an initial indication of the inner and thus musically effective values of these models.
You will immediately notice the great sound possibilities when you play them for the first time.
The wide range of woods on offer makes it easy for you to find your personal favourite.
High-quality materials
The 433BIE tenor recorder is made from pear wood, which gives the instrument a warm and soft sound.
The oils used for the inner bore and parts of the outer surfaces are free from additives and, where available, are of pharmaceutical purity.
The clear and warm FEHR sound
FEHR recorders are characterised by their clear, warm sound, which, depending on the model, comes into its own in solo performances as well as in ensembles. The typical FEHR sound is achieved through special craftsmanship techniques that go back to the founder Hans Conrad Fehr and which have been refined and improved by the instrument makers in the FEHR workshop over the decades.
