Product information "FEHR bent tenor, model III, 3-piece, pear wood"
The 433BIK (bent tenor) is easier to play.
Detailed information on the instrument can be found at the bottom of the page.
Knick head
If you have small hands but still want to play a tenor recorder, then the 433BIK bent tenor is just the right instrument for you.
The bent head means that the instrument can be held higher. This leads to a more relaxed hand position for both hands.
The right hand in particular benefits from this, as the more perpendicular the hands can be to the instrument, the "longer" the little finger becomes. Or - to be more precise - it comes closer to the instrument.
Special features of model series III
The external shape of the model series III is based on the stylistic features of the High Baroque period. The well-balanced shape with fine decorative rings gives an initial indication of the inner and thus musically effective values of these models.
The instruments of Model III are characterised by clarity and expression.
The wide range of woods on offer makes it easy for you to find your personal favourite.
High quality materials
The 433BIKE tenor recorder is made from pear wood, which gives the instrument a warm and soft sound.
The oils used for the inner bore and parts of the outer surfaces are free from additives and, where available, are of pharmaceutical purity.
The clear and warm FEHR sound
FEHR recorders are characterised by their clear, warm sound, which, depending on the model, comes into its own in solo performances as well as in ensembles. The typical FEHR sound is achieved through special craftsmanship techniques that go back to the founder Hans Conrad Fehr and which have been refined and improved by the instrument makers in the FEHR workshop over the decades.
