This well-padded case is suitable for f-alto recorders consisting of 3 parts (headjoint, middle joint and footjoint).
The size of the compartments is specially designed for FEHR alto (treble) recorders. However, alto recorders from other manufacturers also feel well protected in this bag.
The padded bag made of soft cotton fabric with the gold FEHR logo printed on it provides flexible protection for your instrument.
We have made sure that the materials used breathe, allowing the instrument to dry out. Nevertheless, you should never store a wet instrument in a closed bag for any length of time.
Why a bag
Recorders should always be transported in packaging that reliably protects the instrument. Rapid fluctuations in humidity or temperature can cause stress cracks in the body of the recorder, which may permanently damage the instrument.
Bags are lighter than cases, but their good padding reliably protects your instrument from rapid temperature changes and shocks. A high-quality bag protects against a lot of transport damage.
