Product information "FEHR instrument certificate"
The FEHR instrument certificate confirms the materials from which your FEHR recorder was made and - if available from the company archives - where these materials were sourced.
To do this, we need the serial number stamped into the instrument.
The certificate covers the following areas:
- Materials: the certificate will state the materials used, such as the wood (e.g. maple, pearwood, rosewood) and / or other materials used.
- Place of manufacture: The place where the recorder was produced is indicated.
- Manufacturer information: Information about the manufacturer who made the recorder is crucial. Information is given on the model series and the condition of the instrument.
- Dating: If possible, the exact date of sale to the first customer is determined from the company archives using the serial number and model series.
The FEHR instrument certificate can help you to prove the value and authenticity of your instrument. In some countries, certificates of origin may also be required under species protection regulations to ensure the legal trade in materials from endangered species.
