Heat pockets for recorders

Es wird kalt. Vermeiden Sie Heiserkeit. Wollen Sie wissen wie? Es ist ganz einfach!

Penguins love the cold, but recorders don't!
When the body is cold, the moisture from breathing condenses in the windway and forms small water droplets that interfere with tone production.

The result is that the instrument responds less well and the sound suffers greatly.

Blockflötenkopf SchnittansichtThese problems can be easily prevented by warming the headjoint of the recorder before playing. This can be done under your own clothes - simply put it in your trouser pocket or under your jumper.

In concert situations, and especially if the instruments are changed frequently, this method reaches its limits.

The most elegant solution is a recorder bag with heating elements that are designed not to harm the instrument but to preheat it to body temperature.

The energy comes from a power pack - a rechargeable battery - which can supply the bag with power for up to 4 hours. This is perfectly sufficient for normal concert situations.

It is best to use a battery pack that has a charge level indicator. That way you always know how long your recorder heads will stay cosy and warm. And you won't have any problems with droplet hoarseness.
In our collection you will find heatable recorder bags for up to 3 headjoints. Of course, we also have a power pack with useful battery power and filling level indicator in our programme.

So the winter concerts can come. Your recorders will be warm and the penguins can stay cool.
