Tooth cleaning brushes

How to fundamentally improve your instrument in less than 25 minutes.

Why do recorders deteriorate over time and what can you do about it? The answer is quite simple: open your eyes and ears!
If you have a good recorder, your instrument is usually made of wood. This is a natural material that changes over time due to the influence of humidity. And in most cases, not for the better. However, you can slow down, stop and even reverse this process.

Take a closer look at your instrument. When was the last time you took a closer look at the tone holes? Small deposits have certainly formed over time. Now you might say: So what? Nobody can see that! My fingers are on them. And you're partly right. Nobody in the audience can see it - but you can hear it!

Why is that? The deposits reduce the size of the tone holes and change the tuning. The notes become deeper. The treble in particular sinks to an above-average level.

These edges can be removed from the tone holes in just a few simple steps. This can be done with an interdental brush. We recommend the black version with a diameter of 1.5 mm. The brush is so soft that it cannot damage the body of the instrument.

You will be amazed at how good your recorder is after the treatment. But also you and your fellow players.
