Paetzold bass with special finish

XF4000 makes its debut in Antwerp

Antwerp is known for its art, architecture and, of course, the diamond trade. Rubens, Van Dyck and Jordaens all worked here. An excellent place to present the uniquely designed XF4000 to the public. The design jewel was unveiled yesterday evening as part of Integrated¹ 2019

xf4000 Master Basset

The graphic design of the XF4000 on show was submitted by Jeanne Strieder as part of the Paetzold by Kunath design competition to mark the 5th anniversary of the company's handover and was the clear winner at the time. Airbrush artist Werner Simnacher realised the design on a Paetzold by Kunath MASTER Basset according to the artist's specifications.

Sylvia Hinz, who owns the instrument pictured, decided to realise the design on a MASTER Basset with two headjoints.

We are sure that XF4000 will be seen on many stages together with the artist in the years to come.

If you would like to own an instrument with a globally unique design, please contact us. Our surface specialists will realise your designs and wishes in an impressive way.

¹ Integrated is a biennial international conference that explores the changing perspectives of designers, visual and performing artists, architects and scientists and how they can be the unifying agents in this turbulent and complex society. The conference aims to develop new methods that create connections between the different art forms and society from political, social and ecological motives.
